Indication for intervertebral surgery

When the conservative method does not help

While the transforaminal access represents the method of choice for most herniated discs and stenosis, the interlaminar approach is the perfect option for transforaminally 'difficult to reach' prolapses and sequesters.

Good alternatives to the conventional microsurgical technique for stenosis treatment are the various iLESSYS® approaches to the spinal canal and the foramen, as the traditional method cannot dispense with only partial removal of the Lamina, the Yellow Ligament and/or parts of the facet joint.

joimax® offers the Shaver Drill System (Shrill®) which allows the removal of soft tissue and bone tissue under endoscopic view. As always, the safety for the patient is most important - endoscopic view allows the removal of the smallest amount of narrowing structures, required to achieve the desired outcome.
