TESSYS® Surgical Technique for disc prolapses

In three steps to relieve pain

Perfect positioning of the patient and accurate planning of access to the herniated disc are essential when working with the TESSYS® method.

After the staged 3-step guiding principle, the surgeon inserts a set of guiding rods, guiding and working tubes, and reamers from the TESSYS® instrument tray, under constant fluoroscopic control. In doing so, the foramen is slowly and progressively dilated. Via the safe access to the spinal canal, one can then remove the herniated disc under full endoscopic image control, using specially developed foraminoscopes and forceps.

The TESSYS® Animation Video shows an animated surgery. We offer the TESSYS® Education Program, with special training courses where you can deepen your knowledge of the TESSYS® surgery method. For further details, please do not hesitate to contact us via telephone, fax or Email.
