The Guidance View assists the surgeon in navigating the instrument easily and precisely to its target. After determination of entry and target point, the user can focus on one view only, following the Vector-Tip-Target principle.
The panel PC with integrated touch screen enables the control of the system as well as the display of the medical image data and the relative instrument position.
The entire registration procedure only requires two x-rays (A/P & LAT) with the help of the clever patient mappers. They are inserted into the beam path of the C-arm to automatically match the images with the virtual navigation environment.
The flexible sensor wires contain numerous sensors that enable the navigation of slim and flexible instruments directly at the tip.

J-Needle Navigated
The new J-Needle is a stepping stone on the path to implant navigation:
It allows for the navigation of the bony transpedicular access and through the superior articulating process (SAP) targeting.
The navigable J-Needle from joimax® was designed specifically for use as a starting instrument for endoscopic and endoscopic-assisted procedures, particularly with the innovative TESSYS® TransSAP system. The trocar tip facilitates secure anchoring in bony structures, allowing for a more stable starting point for various procedures.
The new navigable J-Needle’s main difference from the standard Jamshidi-type needle is the Luer connector for the Intracs® sensor-wire, enabling unique instrument detection and precise electromagnetic navigation.
