Percusys® Plus - Percutaneous Screw Rod System
The patented Percusys® Plus screw-rod system is developed for vertebral stabilization.
Only one instrument set fits all surgical techniques for implantation. Surgery time is reduced by simple instrumentation and few operational steps.
The Percusys® Plus Concept
The joimax® Percusys® Plus pedicle screw system is adapted to the latest LIF methods, such as the EndoLIF® procedure. It is used for surgical correction of various types of spinal diseases.
Percusys® Plus implants are specifically designed for percutaneous surgery, resulting in smaller incisions and improved cosmetic results. The compact and simple instrument set is equipped with clever features that allow for quick and efficient surgery.
The joimax® Percusys® Plus screw-rod system can be used for surgical correction of various types of spinal diseases. It is designed for the temporary stabilization of the spine until formation of a bony fusion occurs. The pedicle screws can also be augmented with bone cement for long-term stability in osteoporotic vertebral bodies.
Only one instrument tray is required for an implantation of the Percusys® Plus screw-rod system! It contains all the necessary instruments for spinal stabilization. Additionally, there is a small tray for revision surgery. The advantages of the Percusys® Plus screw-rod system are obvious: the instruments are extremely slim, very versatile and user-friendly. At the same time the patient benefits from shorter rehabilitation periods due to significantly smaller incisions.

Product Variants
Pedicle Screws
The patented Percusys® Plus pedicle screws all follow the same design with the characteristic, very slim extension shaft (Ø 12 mm). The shafts are firmly connected and can easily be separated at the end of the surgery.
The screws are available in diameters from 5 to 8 mm, with lengths from 35 up to 55 mm (depending on the diameter). Each size is color-coded for easy identification.
All screw variants are available with both polyaxial and monoaxial tulips. The screws are self-tapping, self-drilling and can be augmented in all diameters. A special feature of Percusys® Plus is the pre-assembled set screw. It reduces the number of surgical steps and simplifies handling by surgical staff.
